Flashcards

Flashcards generated from your study materials

Making flashcards by hand is the part most students skip. StudyWithAce writes the deck for you from the material you already have, so you can go straight to the recall practice that actually moves the needle.

Build a deck in one step

  • Paste notes or upload a PDF or PowerPoint file.
  • Give the deck a title and choose roughly how many cards you want.
  • StudyWithAce writes front-and-back cards, with a hint where one helps.
  • Decks are saved to your account, so you can return to them any time.

Reviewing a deck

Cards are reviewed one at a time: read the front, try to recall the answer, then flip. You can move forwards and backwards through a deck, shuffle it so you are not memorising the order instead of the content, and restart a deck from the beginning.

Your reviews are tracked

Each card you review is logged against the concept it belongs to, which is how StudyWithAce builds a picture of what you know well and what is still shaky. That picture is shared with the rest of the app — the same signal that decides which topics show up in your daily review plan.

Where flashcards fit

Flashcards are best for definitions, terminology and formulas. Quizzes are better for testing whether you can apply a concept, and study notes are where you go when the answer did not come to you at all. Most students use all three on the same material.
