Materials
Turn any document or video into clear study notes
Lecture slides are built for a lecturer talking over them, not for revision. StudyWithAce reads the material you upload and rewrites it as notes you can actually study from — headings, bullet points, tables, key terms and a mindmap of how the ideas connect.
What you can upload
- PDF documents — lecture handouts, textbook chapters, past papers.
- PowerPoint (PPTX) files, including diagrams and SmartArt from the slides.
- Plain notes you type or paste in yourself.
- A YouTube link, when you want notes from a recorded lecture or explainer.
Scanned pages without a text layer are run through text recognition, so an image-only PDF still produces usable notes rather than an empty page.
What the generated notes contain
The output is structured, not a wall of text. Notes are laid out with clear headings, spaced bullet points, and tables where the source material compares things side by side. Key terms are pulled out so you can see the vocabulary a topic expects you to know.
- Bold headings and sub-headings that follow the structure of the source.
- Bullet points for the details under each heading.
- Tables where the material is comparative.
- A key-terms list for the vocabulary of the topic.
- An interactive mindmap you can expand, collapse, pan and zoom.
- Diagrams and charts from the original file shown next to the concept they belong to.
Managing your notes afterwards
- Search and filter across everything you have generated.
- Edit any generated note — earlier versions are kept in version history.
- Export a note to PDF, with the source visuals included in the export.
- Share a note to Legacy Packs so it is filed under the right subject and year.
Notes are the start, not the end
Once a note exists, you can generate a quiz from it or build a flashcard deck, and your results feed the review schedule.
