EduMatch

Study together with a matched peer

Studying alone is where most plans quietly fall apart. EduMatch pairs you with another student for a scheduled video session, so there is someone on the other end expecting you to turn up.

How matching works

  • Browse students you can study with and send a match request.
  • The other student accepts, and the pair gets a shared session.
  • Sessions are 50 minutes — long enough for real work, short enough to commit to.
  • Each matched pair gets its own private room.

Inside a session

The session room is an encrypted video call with in-app chat beside it. Messages are kept with the pair, so notes and links you exchange are still there next time, and you get typing indicators and unread badges when your partner writes while you are elsewhere in the app.

Rooms are private to the two matched students. Nothing from a session is published or shared outside the pair.

Why a partner helps

A scheduled session turns "I should revise this week" into a fixed time in the day. It also gives you someone to explain a topic to, which is one of the fastest ways to find out whether you actually understand it — and one of the reasons a session often exposes gaps that reading alone never would.

Pair it with the rest of your study

Bring something concrete to the call: the topics from your daily review plan, or a quiz you both attempt and compare. Between sessions, the focus timer keeps your solo work on the same rhythm.
